RTG memory never shows as system memory. If you can select a Picasso screen mode in Prefs/ScreenMode, then RTG memory is used.

RTG memory will only ever be used for RTG graphics. It does not expand the Amiga's Chip RAM or something.

That's a different thing. The Workbench title bar only shows memory which is available to applications for general use. The RTG memory is only usable by the RTG driver, it is hidden from the application programs. But nevertheless the RTG memory on the Z2 bus is taken into account for the 8MB limit. So if your SCSI card has 2 MB and the Picasso has 2 MB, there are only 4 MB left on the Zorro2 bus for other cards..
