You don't have to do that, and you don't need any 3rd party tools. Open Storage Management, blow the partition away, expand your extant partition. Bam, done.
Not in XP.
Well, you can do it in XP, partially. You can "blow away" the partition with Windows disk management. Then boot from the XP install CD, enter the repair console and use DiskPart to expand the remaining partition.
Or just use a Vista/7 install DVD for everything: boot from the DVD, enter computer repair options, open an DOS window and use DiskPart to delete the OS/2 partition and expand the XP partition.
