If the HDD is master, the CD-ROM needs to be jumpered as slave. "It worked fine with the same jumper settings in another computer" is not an argument.
AllegroCDFS needs a hardware dongle to run (a FastATA, EIDE'99 or such).
www.elbox.comCD0 and CD1 (only one of them is needed for one CD-ROM drive) have to be edited to match your config (device=scsi.device and unit=1).
