About the Spider:
- it is cheap standard hardware rebranded and overpriced
- it is difficult to find the right version of Poseidon which works with the Spider driver
- it is even more difficult to get a keyfile for Poseidon.
About Deneb + Mediator:
I never tried a Deneb in my Mediator, but I know that the Highway works quite well, so I would expect the Deneb to work, too. Maybe it does not work in DMA mode, though.
About gfx card and native modes:
You still need a switch. You don't even get the native Workbench or startup menu on the Voodoo/Radeon like you get with the CVPPC.
