when i try to mount it its say:RIGID DISK NOT FOUND!!??
what this is means?
The Mounter program can only mount partitions. If you didn't create any partitions on this disk yet, then there is nothing you can mount. Rigid Disk Block (RDB) is the name of the Amiga parition table. Similar to Master Boot Record (MBR) on a PC harddrive.
allso i try the hd tool box, and allso there his show my hd 40 gig, but when i click install its show me the icon of think... and stuck! any idea please?
There's something wrong with the drive or your computer. Check that all cables are properly connected, that the jumpers are set correctly and that enough power is supplied to the drive.
You could also try another disk if you have one. Or try to prepare the disk with WinUAE before you put it into the Amiga.
