Does it really say this in German ?
Error 42 means "illegal or unexpected SCSI phase". With a real SCSI device I'd say that termination is not correct. But on USB I have no idea. Perhaps ask Chris Hodges about it.
Maybe MaxTransfer issue.
Do you use OS 3.9 ? Perhaps try without AsyncWB.
