Connect the sound outputs of the Amiga to the sound inputs of the VGA box with a normal stereo audio cable.

VGA box yellow video input -> modulator video output
VGA box red audio input -> Amiga red audio output
VGA box white audio input -> Amiga white audio output

Sound does not go through the modulator. Even if you use the HF ouput of the emulator, you have to feed the audio into the modulator seperately (note that the emulator has audio *input*, not output).

If you use the video connector of the modulator (as you do), the modulator is not at all involved in sound.
