My Voodoo works fine in the topmost PCI slot (next to the video slot, farest from the mediator logic). I just added a PCI network card in the slot next to the mediator and the Voodoo still works.

I also run an X-Surf, HyperCOM 3+, FastATA, eFlash and Highway in the same board. No problems here.

IMHO, if it mechanically fits, it should work. You could put some plastic or paper between the cards to avoid short circuits.

Well, when I say that the Voodoo still works, I mean that everything still works on the Voodoo. Regarding the W3D demos, I never got all of them to run, neither on the CVisionPPC nor on the Voodoo. But GearsPPC runs like hell, I use it as a screensaver. And HereticII and WipeOut work either.

May I ask which Picasso96 archive you have used? I was told not to use the one included on the OS3.9 CD. And what about the Warp3D drivers? Taken from the MMCD?

I don't remember. P96 probably is from the OS3.9 CD or from http://picasso96.cogito.de (which should be the same). W3D probably from the MMCD. Isn't there a global install script on the MMCD which installs everything ? At least I just followed the instructions on the MMCD. Note that there are many directories on the MMCD and each contains its own set of instructions. Read them all. Especially read the instructions in the Voodoo4+5 directory, even if you have "only" a Voodoo3. And use the MedConfig script where possible (it isn't on the MMCD but came with one of the update emails).
