The Minimig doesn't support USB mice. Some USB mice use dual mode (USB/PS/2) controller chips and work in PS/2 mode although they aren't advertised to be compatible with that mode.
All the
USB to PS/2 adapters are passive and the PS/2 protocol is handled by the mouse itself.
