There's a thief in our neighborhood
« on: December 18, 2004, 02:15:58 PM »
And he's stolen 2 bicycles off our front porch, in broad daylight.

The first was last Christmas, now history has repeated itself. What is it with Christmas and crime?

This used to be such a nice neighborhood, nobody locks their doors, even when nobody is home. I know it's not really a big deal considering insurance will pay for it again, but I can't feel "at home" in a neighborhood where this kind of thing looks like will become part of living here.

Time to move.

I just don't understand it. They had to have walked 2 miles up the road and carried it 2 miles back. How far do I have to be from everyone before I don't have to deal with this stuff? It's depressing and infuriating at the same time.
