i doubt this is true.
but it is weirdly entertaining.

it's true! Saw it on the news, the DA is still thinking about bringing up negligence charges against the family.

Last year there was a woman who had a remote controll stuck in a roll of fat so long that the skin grew around it and formed an abcess that had to be operated on.

Wierd stuff

Greetings,

It goes to show that the manufactured food they eat these days are the major cause of obesity around the world. Food chains are the culprits.
Really Sad to hear people suffer like that. If only burgers, pizzas and high cholesterol food are not delicious. Can't help it sometimes if I ever see pizza, I jump out and grab one, an another.. Sooner or later i'd feel the bloat in my tummy and gain a few pounds.

Always eat your veggies! It's for you own good, my mother always say to me. He he. :-)

Regards,

Gizz

I doubt these people could blame much of this on their diet, obesity like this can't be from diet alone, usually there's some severe glandular problems

If you've seen the episode of Opera(IIRC), the topic was about obesity and how the people overcame them. I was shocked how they eat uncontrollably, but still manage to control their 'eating disorder'. Touching is it not?

Huh? How could skin become grafted with the fabric :-? The skin would have become bedsores and flesh would have simply rotted away, right? I have a hard time believing the details here.

I've had wounds heal into gauze before, due to failing to change them every 6 hours. While the woman wasn't wounded, I imagine 600 lbs of pressure over 5 years on moist 98.6 degree fahrenheit fabric could cause the skin to start growing through the pores in the material. Skin's pretty pliable. Heck, skin even naturally tends to try to surround sources of infection rather than growing clear of it.

I can't imagine it would be very comfortable, hell, I complain when the thread count of the bedsheets is too low.
