At the first glance, I thought that hurricane looked like Scandinavia! :-P

Do you think your barn will hold this year, T_bone?

Lol! it's long gone, I replaced it with 2 $499.00 aluminum carports, and a good fence around the back. I miss having the barn though, nothing beats one for storing all your crap!  :-P

I'll be in Virginia about the time the storm hits though, my wife got suckered into a club membership at "The Club at Lake Gaston Resort" so I'll be moving the camper and the golf cart up there (everyone there drives golf carts around *everywhere*, to restaurants, the stores, the bars, etc.) It doesn't seem like a bad deal, but these "clubs" sound a lot like those timeshares. $15K gets you a permanent camp lot and part overship of the resort. You never know though, maybe the storm will follow us up.  :-P

Uhhh...

This place is a trailer park.

Ok, it has a golf course, marina, docks, fishing, restaurants, tennis, swimming pools, bars, dancing...

but it's just a trailer park, and it's the largest trailer park I've ever seen!

There's some stereotypes breeding in this place... anyone ever play Trailer park tycoon? This is a real life version, no kidding, I thought that game was just poking fun at trailer parks, but no.

This place is so campy it has to be seen to be believed, I'm going to bring a camera next time, you won't believe it. Not saying it's bad, it's kind of cool in a way, but it's funny as hell.

The guy in the lot next to us doesn't have a camper, he has a boat, not on a trailer where it could be moved... it's planted in the dirt with a deck built around it, the entire hull is below the dirt. When we arrived he came out of the cabin and yelled "ahoy"...

Did i mention the bull horns he has duct taped to his golf cart?

Wireless internet though... but no phone service.
