I had a Zip disc drive on my 4000D and used it to read and write discs.

If I remember correctly I used the Iomegatools of 3.9 to access the disc and its contents.

I don't think it is a 25 pin.

Looks more like a 50+

Can you get a closer picture of it with more detail?

If it is and your Zip is a 25 way connector then this may do the job

Have a look at the picture on the site and compare it with your 4000T and Zip drive.
