Mediator PCI 3/4000T Question

Hello I was wondering if my Mediator PCI 3/4000T will work in a 4000D with case open? When I bought a few years ago it installed flawlessly in my 3000T. This weekend I tried to install in 4000D. I did a fresh install of 3.1 then 3.9 and BB1 and 2 then tried to install the mediator and P96 and when I tried to run mediator config I get a ram lib error and crash. Also when I click on voodoo icon in screenmodes to attach to board I get the same ramlib error and crash. Here is a snoopdos log.

Got a reply back from Elbox and they said to check Envarc:Mediator/Buster variable. I am at work but will give it a shot when I get home this evening.

I removed the 3640 and replaced with 030 and everything installed smoothly. I was able to attach to board first try. I will put the 040 back in tomorrow and try to debug some more.

Ok a little progress update. I reinstalled the 3640 and was able to get everything installed and the system stable. All cards show in pciinfo I was able to attach voodoo in P96 but I am getting no video signal to the monitor I have attached to the voodoo card when I try to change screen modes. Amitcp also starts but won't connect using fastethernet.device Any ideas to try from here?

Ok I spent some time on this over the weekend. I have installed and reinstalled both 3.1 and 3.9 several times. I have gotten the card to work and output the voodoo screen modes a few times to the monitor but after a reboot I keep getting voodoo failed error 80000004. I have installed thor libs and also tried a little program dtack in startup-sequence which takes away the 80000004 error and allows the system to boot but with it I see the voodoo screen modes and can attach to the voodoo board but I get no output to the monitor attached to voodoo card. I am beginning to think I have a hardware problem with the mediator or voodoo card. I have tried two different voodoo cards and have the exact same problem with both. Early start up shows the mediator as working. All cards installed in the mediator show perfectly in pci info. Next setup is to track down an older pc with pci slots and test voodoo cards. If the voodoo cards test ok is there anywhere I can send the mediator to have it tested and confirm working 100%?

I am off to Orlando tomorrow morning for a trip to Disney with the family and a conf next week. I will have a Warp Engine 4040 waiting for me when I return. I will try it out with that. If I can't get it going I will gladly pay postage both ways and let you see what you find with it. It was working perfectly fine in my 3000t for a couple of years until I pulled it after selling my cyberstorm to you. I didn't have time to play around with it when I first pulled it with a toddler running around the house. The 3000 basically just sits there running a bbs so i simply installed a fastata controller and used a deneb for the internet connection and put the mediator on the shelf. I have a some more time with my daughter getting a little older so i figured i would try it in the 4000d and it it worked i would search around for a mirage tower to put it in. I will back home a week from tomorrow so I will let you know how I make out.
