That might be true, however, that's the OLD, unused definition.

The common usage of 'derro' is a person who is not homeless, but just a plain {bleep}head.

No, I don't know about north of Melbourne, but certainly in the East & South East region, a derro is a drug abusing nearly brain dead moron, who doesn't care about anybody.

Usually they are unemployed, have slow speach, rough skin, and beg for 'spare change man' alot.

At least a neo-nazi cares about some people. Derro's don't even care about themselves.
