Anyone have a Rev 2.2 Fastlane that was later fixed by phase5? Apparently, there was a separate fix for this revision (not the one to allow 256MB) which involved some patch wires, and probably an upgraded ROM.
Trying to use mine with an A3K, and have encountered what seems to be the usual issue - RAM works fine, but no boot with SCSI devices attached.
After digging through old usenet posts, it seems SCSI did work with the "fixed" Rev 2.2 boards (I'm guessing the same fix mentioned on amiga resource), otherwise no chance.
I've already burned an 8.5 ROM, but if anyone has a Rev 2.2 board with the patch wires, and could take a pic, I would be very appreciative.
I also have two extra 27C256, and would be happy to burn a few extra if someone might need one (cost of ROM + postage).
Hi there,
I have a fastlane rev. 2.2. I don't know if it ever was sent to P5 for fix/upgrade but it has a wire patch installed. I haven't tested booting off it though in my A3000. I can send you a picture if you want.
I have another one (rev 2.4), both need the 8.5 rom... how much would those cost? :-)
Where are you located?
Cheers,
Dragster
