MiamiDLX and VarIO problem!
« on: April 01, 2003, 07:57:02 AM »
Hi everybody,

I have a problem with MiamiDlx 1.0c when I use it with my VarIO. This is my setup: Amiga 1200 Power Tower, BlizzardPPC 603e@240, 060/50, SCSI II, 128 MB RAM, BVisionPPC, ZIV busboard, Highway USB, VarIO, XSurf Ethernet.

When online (DialUP) browsing the WWW with IBrowse2.3 or sometimes when using VNC miami just stops working (all connections die, no modem light flashing), like if the VARIO would have hung or something. This behavior also happens with genesis. So, when It happens I have to reset the machine (without droping the line) and reconnect and everything then goes back to normal until the problem happens again... anyone had this problem before? Could it be something with the VarIO? The busboard? Weak PSU? Any advise will be highly appreciated,

This happens under AmigaOS 3.9 BB2.Patches: Blizkick, MCP,
Stackattack2, HSMathLibs, KingCON, TitleShadow, OutlineFont.

thanks!

Daniel
