The app can't replace the Amiga, it can only run the software. For people who only care to play the games it might be enough, but I personally like sticking the old hardware together and getting it going.  Same reason I don't touch C64 emulators.

Yeah, the whole running only certain games thing stinks.

There's also an Amiga emulator for Android with no such limitations.
