I like to get 3.9 running on anything that'll run it.

I think the poll should be closed, so 3.9 can stay at 40.68%!

Though of course something like 45.57 would be more appropriate.

One person a few years ago, yes.  No offense taken at all, but luckily I'm a good few inches taller than him.

I was just wondering Tone, when you stand next to that lovely classic little Beetle of yours, does your head disappear...

Nah, I took a shaver to the sides, now my hair is a very noticeable two tone.

..not that I've seen the Beetle in two weeks, it's still off getting a replacement engine.

WarpEngine 4040!

Actually, just a plain old 1600DP like it had, only this one won't leave 6" diameter oil spills where I park it hopefully.

I boot 1.1 all day long!

..well, when it's the only disk I can lay my hands on while testing dirty old A500s..

Speaking of the Beetle and disappearing, some days I go around looking so ridiculous the Beetle disappears behind me!

Now I haven't heard Eddie Izzard before, and I just don't see it.

(Gawd, how many budding musicians do we have here on amiga.org... :))

I'm too old to be a budding musician, by now I'm just mediocre!

More Derrin Brown than Eddie Izzard I thought...

I'd have to agree.

GIVE ME CELEBRITIES, I WILL CUT THEM UP AND BUILD MYSELF OUT OF THEM.

Argh.  That's a lot of money to spend on Motorola architecture, you could get a nice Intel Mac for less and do more.

Edit: read too fast, didn't realize you'd won it already.  Best of luck!

The G5 iMacs are still nice machines.

G5 does have enough horsepower for today's stuff.

I just have a hard time spending money on anything that isn't Intel these days, since MacOS went x86 and then there's all the x86 Linux and of course good old reliable Windows* to run.

If that's really you in the pic, then you must have been in one of those 80's bands like The Human league, ABC, or Spandau Ballet, I'll wager... :)

Nah, all of those guys have lost their hair already!

(At least Phil Oakey sure did.)

I can put the G4 on ebay and get around £250 -to £280 for it quite easily as they very rarely go for much less than that here... :)

Well, crap.  Let me buy them for $100 here all day and send them over that way.  I'm no stranger to international shipping!
