Pretty common with angle mounted SIMMs on accelerators.  If any of the metal of the components on the SIMM are at risk of hitting the keyboard metal, you'd probably want to insulate with electrical tape or something.

Gotcha. If it's not pressing it down more than a couple of millimeters, I don't think I'd worry about it too much but I've never had that particular setup in any of my machines.

I have seen A2000 accelerators that were installed for years, they got warped due to the power supply cables pushing them ~0.5"  (or more) over near the end of the card.
