Hm. How much 16 bit RAM does the 2500 have?  I had a 2000 and a Spectrum 28/24 worked fine in it, but all my RAM was on the accelerator.  Dunno if that makes a difference.

I'd try getting down to 6mb or less total to see if that makes a difference.

Might just be too much memory in use on the Zorro II bus.  See if you can set the Supra card to 2MB.

No, the Spectrum doesn't scandouble.  It'll pass through the Amiga signal as-is.

One of those DB9 to DB15 cables could work for you with a standard Amiga 23 to 15 adapter if you have the stuff lying around, otherwise you would have to figure one out.  Of course, if you don't have a compatible monitor, it's probably not worth the trouble.
