After a truly horrific time trying to get a Micronik 6230* busboard to work, I would never expand a A1200 with something so dramatic again. The 1200 was just not designed for it.
Get an A4000T and put the Mediator in that instead.
BTW that was about 9 years ago, so the HW will be even more flaky these days.
