I used to take Mega Drive controllers apart and move a few wires about.  IIRC the 'B' button is already connected, so I used the 'C' button as 2nd Fire.

Remember reading something back in the 90s about Mega Drive controllers.  They can apparently damage the Amiga cos of the way some lines are connected.  If you`re handy with a soldering iron it won be a problem

You don't need to modify a Sega pad for it to work perfectly with all 1 and 2 button games.

Are you 100% sure about that?  I`m 99% sure the second fire button doesn`t work unless you mod the controller...
