I used a bone stock a500plus with 512MB fast, an a590HD to boot from with Amiga OS 2.05, Miami 3.1 TCP/IP stack, configured to dial into the "PC" com port. Then ran the Amiga Internet Apps through a proxy setup.
Don't waste your time with this method though, its just simply too painstakingly slow.
I tried it with my a1200 and it overall seemed ok, achieving 56k modem transfer speed.
