« on: June 29, 2008, 09:44:20 PM »
Has anybody got one of these for sale?  Preferably a high-quality shielded cable.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers.  :-)

Connecting a Akai S3000xl Sampler to the Amiga (A2091)
The sampler is a 25-pin SCSI interface as well.

Thanks.

A DB25M to DB25M cable shouldn't be difficult to find. Don't know if SCSI has special requirements (twists and whatnot), but anything using such a cable likely operates at a low data rate.

The Sampler`s manual goes to great lengths to warn users to use a `High Quality` cable to avoid data corruption.  Plus, it`s old hardware these days.

Not sure what way it`s terminated either...

People don`t use enough SCSI these days.......

I`m going from Sampler >> Zip drive >> Amiga.

The Zip drive has 2 SCSI ports.  The Sampler & Amiga have one each.
