ACK Software Contols - Does anybody knows how Adam looks like?
« on: January 07, 2008, 08:59:40 AM »
Since AInc bases it strategy on ACK "future" hardware, I wonder if anybody knows how Adam looks like, since there is no pictures, no website, no information at all.

How "big" is that company, where is located, can someone post pictures of it?

BTW, can anybody post picture of Amiga Inc headquarters (building, offices).

I am just curious how serioous this all story about reviving of Amiga is.

So ACK SC is "one man company". Does anybody have pictures of Amiga Inc  headquarters ?

I think future of Amiga platform has few possible scenarios:

- Hyperion wins case and we have OS4 for new PPC boards
  like SAM440)
- AInc wins case and we have "code leaking" for new PPC
boards (like SAM440) and working moana project
- AInc wins case and there is no "code leaking", but AROS
  takes over

Biggest proffit with this situation could have Elbox with new PPC cards (I dont know why they wait).

But, this situation is not so "pink". If there are legal issues and no hardware around, there is no rapid development for the platform.
Without new software any platform is dead.

AInc shouuld think global. they should give license to any PPC hardware there is, monitor the situation with OS4 on market and develop modern aplications for it (like office, programming IDE-es and such).
If OS4 lives, than they could develop OS5, if not they prooved their point. With this policy they are "cutting branch on which they are sitting", because, If amiga as platform dies, who will ever want AmigaAnywhere?
New computer kids have never heard for Amiga so it is dificulut to think they will use AmigaAnywhere on theirs PDA-s.
