Amiga 1000 prices...

Is it just me, or have Amiga 1000 prices really gone up over the last few months?  This buffoon notwithstanding (he keeps RAISING the price and has to be trolling), what seemed to be a $200 purchase for a model in good shape a year or two ago seems to a $500-$1000 purchase for a machine in good condition.  What gives?

I have an A1000. I wonder if I hold it long enough if it will be worth One Million Dollars!
