Commodore International Stock Certificate
« on: March 19, 2009, 12:10:21 AM »
I have an original Commodore International Stock certificate for 20 outstanding shares. Obviously, it's only worth sentimental value as the company no longer exists.

I thought I'd just post out of curiosity what people think I might get for it as a collectors item.

Please no, it's only good for TP comments.  :-D

Kindling? ;-) No idea what that would go for, but I'm sure you'll find someone willing to pay you more than the original 20 shares were worth. So, good investment.

I don't know about that, I think with the sales fee it was like $200 for those 20 shares.

However, I guess you never know - some rich collector may really want it. Perhaps, eBay is the way to go.

There are people who collect old stock certificates.  I have seen some old Atari ones go for $50.  You could probably get something close to that if it's in good condition.

Sold, if I can get that for it. It's in great shape - still in the envelop it originally came in with purchase receipts. Probably don't want to sell that with it though.

I sold my stock holders reports, years ago - I think I got like $40 for them and some other advertising materials from the A1200 and A4000 again in great condition.

I still do have the 1989(2nd Q) and 1990(3rd Q) reports that I can include with the stock certificate.
