Ok, so AmigaAnywhere 2 is NOT AmigaOS 5. AmigaOS 4 is the current AmigaOS and Amiga, inc.'s plans center around it. It sounds like to me that once these legal wranglings are over we'll see some new hardware and AmigaOS 4.01 will be driving it.
I never remember the Amiga community being this negative, I know it's been a long road. I've been discouraged by how long it's taking too but I'm not ready to be negative.
I do agree with the discussions of the fragmenting of development - multiple hardware, multiple os but the one true AmigaOS is the one developed by Hyperion and that's what Amiga, inc. is saying is what they will be supporting with new hardware. I'm willing to give Amiga, inc. a chance. I wish they'd be open to clones but I think they are worried about the size of the market and making sure that they sell their hardware right now. I can understand that.
Anyway - bottom line - contrary to articles and discussion Amiga Anywhere 2 is NOT AmigaOS 5.
