That's good advice from Bloodline! You will find memory is quite tight on the A500 with Blitz Basic, and might prevent you from running the debugger when you test your code. The debugger is a great help! Also, there is a newer version of Blitz available for free which has some improvements and should work on your A1200 too. It's called AmiBlitz 3 and you'll find it at
