Non-Amiga Minimig cores ready to use
« on: June 09, 2009, 04:16:13 PM »
Hello there!

I've searching all over Amiga forums & google, but I couldn't find a proper answer:
-Are there any FULLY FUNCTIONAL cores for the Miniming to become other computers? (ZX Spectrum, MSX, Atari ST...). Can they read disk images from SD? It seems to be the hard part when porting...
-It seems there's a C64 core in the works, wich hasn't be released because of legal problems (C64 ROMS have been distributed with C64 emulators from the dawn of time, damnit...); how ready is it? has anybody tried it?
-WHERE are they available??

Just imagine...A mini-machine to rule them all!!

Thanks!

PD: Don't send me to minimig.net, I already know that forum, thanks.

maybe you could ask on the minimig forum:

Man you make me feel relieved: now I can understand why has Europe voted for the right when a capitalist crysis is upon us...

@alexh: do you know if that C64 core is really going anywere? Is the Minimig FPGA really up to it? I mean, the CPU, VIC and the SID chip must be implemented in a limited FPGA as I understand. Minimig has a 8K compatible phisical CPU, but for non-68k systems it may not be enough.
