« on: October 10, 2008, 11:01:42 PM »
A new beta of the main AROS distribution has been released. The new version comes on a live-DVD for the huge amount of software, and is available as usual also as a pre-configured virtual machine.

More informations, downloads and screenshots at the VmwAROS website..

This has probably been my hardest and most plagued release. I can't even remember how many issues I got creating it, and how many problems I had to fix before cleaning everything. And when the puzzle seemd complete, first feedbacks indicated that the Icon menu of workbench wasn't working properly.

So I blocked downloads and now the new beta 0.9.1 is out. There are really many and many enhancements since version 0.8, with new software and system features. I hope you'll all enjoy it.

Cheers,

Whats the name of that app with the black background in the screenshot?

Isn't it reported on the top title bar? I have three apps shot on the website with black bg, so it can be either the IRC client WookieChate, the MMORPG Eternal Lands, or the SDL game Kobo Deluxe.

Hope it can be helpful.
