Hey there everyone, the name's nonfinite. I've been intending to grab an Amiga and a copy of pro tracker for ages now, but honestly, after a small, (and apparently insufficient,) amount of research, I still don't really know where to begin.
First off, I've decided to allocate $250 towards the purchase of any needed hardware. Looking at amigakit.com, I'm seeing some price tags that are quite a bit higher than I expected for a vintage computer, but so be it.
I am interested in purchasing an Amiga solely for it's sound capabilities, nothing else. Not interested in gaming, graphics, etc.
What would you recommend I purchase, and where would you recommend I purchase it from?
Furthermore, should anyone have hardware available for sale they think I may find useful, and if you have an interest in musical composition with NES and Game Boy systems, please contact me. I have been composing with, repairing, and doing modifications to these systems for a good amount of time now, and would be very interested in bartering with you.
