On the Edge: The Amiga Years
« on: October 03, 2012, 04:02:43 AM »
I went looking for the Brian Bagnall's sequel on Commodore and the Amiga and was surprised by the following:

It will ship this month:

http://www.ipgbook.com/commodore-products-9780973864991.php?page_id=32&pid=VAR

It is also on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Commodore-Amiga-Years-Brian-Bagnall/dp/0973864990

Looks pretty nice!

540 pages!

I'm pretty excited about this book.

I ended up paying $18.32 with free shipping on Amazon which I think is a good deal.

I will post when it is released.

Cheers!

Amazon US also recommends:

Commodore: The Amiga Years
The Future Was Here: The Commodore Amiga
Commodore: A Company On The Edge
On The Edge: The Spectacular Rise and Fall of Commodore
Fire In The Valley: The Making of The Personal Computer (Second Edition)

That's a lot of reading!

I have all the other books and have read them.  I guess I do not have a life.  :-(  (I have two kids though..single Dad).

Fire in the Valley was good but mostly about PC/Mac and little or nothing about Atari or Commodore.  It was Fire in the Valley that inspired The Pirates of Silicon Valley.
