I don't understand why they even mention the Sam440? The Sam could have been considered entry-level 8 or 9 years ago when <700mhz PPC's were still in common use. By today's standards it's just laughably inferior, vastly overpriced junk.
Good God just when I thought somebody had finally come up with a sensible, realistic, modern piece of Amiga hardware for the first time in over 25 years... now it looks like they're gonna screw it all up *yet again* with a stupidly high price tag. I sincerely hope they're not going to try and use the Sam as a benchmark of entry-level pricing?!
This new system HAS to be realistically priced. By that I mean comparable to simlarly-specced offerings from other computer companies. It can't be priced like it's old namesake Teron boards or it will just be another epic failure, and the Amiga market simply cannot afford another one of those.
Ahh well f... it I'll get a new Mac Tablet instead.
