Given the number of units that are selling, it would be nice to see a new version that had the ports exposed.  Even if it required a special adapter so that they could use a something like the mini-parallel port form factor to keep costs down on the main unit.  This could then be followed with a SD based "disk drive".  With the ability to use SD containing D64 images as a drive, C64 software could go on sale again.

It is a nice idea, but it will never happen.  These are being sold as dirt-cheap, plug into the tv, toys, nothing more.

Just like the £20 megadrive 5-in-1 pads at my local Tesco.  99% of the people who buy them don't want or need anything else, and the other 1%, the "enthusiasts", probably already have a C-One, or an old C64 lying around.

If there was still a market for the C64, or C64 software, then they would still be on sale.  There isn't, so they aren't.  People have moved on.
