It doesn't have anything to do with being Amiga unfriendly. IBrowse is an old and outdated browser, even v2.4. You can't really expect it to work with newest versions of Javascript. Personally I'd never risk using IBrowse for things like Paypal. Unless IBrowse 3.0 is eventually released, I think you just have to come to terms with the fact that using something modern like Firefox is the way to go for a large part of your web surfing needs.

IBrowse does support Javascript.

It was "Amiga friendly2 a week ago.

And thanks, but I'm genuinely not interested in what browser anybody thinks I should or shouldn't be using.

So, has anyone experienced this problem with IBrowse 2.4 on the Paypal site, or is it working fine?

I merely voiced my opinion, which is only to be expected when you post on a public forum. Nobody is trying to force you to change your browser.

If you could pay with IBrowse last week but not now, it stands to reason that either Paypal has changed something in their system lately, or that it was merely a temporary glitch of some form.

I like IBrowse, I always use it when browsing from my Amiga. The reason I don't use it for any payments is that I don't want to take any risks when it comes to money. Simple as that. Internet technology is moving forward. IBrowse, however, is apparently not.

Here it is:

The latest release of JavaScript is 1.8, so IBrowse is not up to date.
