Once applications are in a higher language,
and the source code is well preserved and accessible under some kind of (open) license, except a rare case when the developer hasnt yet left the scene and is willing to recompile his software himself. i dont know if such software will ever be of any significant quantity on amiga-oid systems. but then one can just repeat a linux port from the scratch.
