I personally think spybot is a load of crap. Just was slow and didnt capture or fix anything. Ad aware seems to do the trick and fixed many of my problems where spybot kinda kept a thumb in its butt.. :-D
So try out adaware. It has gone along way and recognizes many of the adware that exists. :-)
