I actually build my brother a dual core opteron setup with 2gb of DDR2-800, two 320gb drives, kick @$$ asus sli board, nice case, 600watt PSU, 16x dvd burner, zalman cpu cooler, all for just a bit under $1000. Now that is a setup that id pay for. :-)
