I remember doing that myself. Getting a panel of a VCR and replacing the left amiga mouse button since that one would be the first one to be worn down lol. Wish they somehow integrated a different switch and still keep the classic amiga mouse.
Watch out though. Some buttons from the VCR may stand higher then the amiga buttons, and requires you to sand some of the plastic down to get it right.
