Need Help With A1000 keyboard!
« on: December 01, 2007, 10:28:26 PM »
Ok, there's no real way to explain this easily, but here goes...

During the night, blasted out of my skull, I wanted to get my old A1000 up and running, only to discover that I have no cord for the keyboard, and that the mouse is missing a trackball. The mouse is no prob - gonna buy a new one, but I really don't feel like spending $80 on a new keyboard. So, the chemicals eventually got the better of me and I whipped out my trusty soldering Iron, which always means bad news,

To make a long story short, my Amiga is now lacking a keyboard port, but has 4 very long wires sticking out of it in its place. From what I can piece together from memory, I got the keyboard to do a hard reset, and some wires sparked,  but I have no idea which.

Anyone got a wiring diagram?
Got any useful PD Amiga programs I should know about? Don\\\'t hesitate to tell me!
