Anyone got a DKB 2632 memory board? Help wanted
« on: November 28, 2014, 07:45:57 PM »
Hi,

If anyone here has a DKB 2632 memory board, I'd like your help.

The DKB 2632 connects to the Commodore A2630 68030 accelerator card for the A2000. It can be fitted with up to 112MB of RAM.

I'm wanting to know which address ranges the memory is mapped to. If you have a 2632, run a system monitor program like Scout which can show the memory ranges and post the info here, along with which type/size SIMMs you have in which socket. The Commodore ShowConfig tool should work too.

I had one and as I recall the memory is not auto-config. Perhaps the "addmem" or whatever is used in the start-up will tell you what address the memory is added to.
Yes, there is an option to the 2632 program to show the memory bank addresses and sizes. (I don't have a 2632 myself. I'm after this information partly out of curiosity and partly because the WinUAE Amiga emulator recently added A2630 emulation...)
