As far as I know, yes, you can use it, but it has to be an A4000 disk drive, or a hacked PC unit.

Standard PD HD floppies won't work, as Paula can't handle the data stream as fast as it would be needed, so C= used a disk running at half speed in the A4000 to do it

...I remember to read some article about using a second magnet to fool the sensor at the drive and meke it think it was running twice as fast..
   I think it was on the Aminet. I will check my stuff to see if I still have a copy
