@Schoenfeld

Great to see so many interesting projects coming out of Individual Computers. Can you tell us a little bit more about the current progress of Clone-A? Any more public demonstrations soon (like at tUM-Party)? Thanks.

Clone-A is making extremely good progress, but I have decided to make it a real product, not a hobby-thing like Minimig. It'll be worth the wait and it'll be worth the money. More modes, more interfaces, more data sources.

Jens, I am so excited by the progress of the Clone-A, it really is a dream come true for the Amiga world (especially if you manage cycle exact AGA).

Public demonstration is currently not planned.

That's a shame, but it's understandable with all of the rest of the work you have to do towards the project.

I'm going to ignore that small dig at the Minimig! In all honesty, I believe there is room in the Amiga world for Clone-A and Minimig. I'd certainly consider buying both. I'd really like the projects to merge, but I know that's not likely to happen.

Merging Minimig and Clone-A is actually planned. I have an agreement with Dennis that I'll open up all the information necessary to port Minimig to the Clone-A hardware. That way people can see the difference between the two implementations.

I stand by my word, all that info will be open to the public.

Jens Schönfeld, you are the man. You are the new Don of the Amiga world, because you've just made me an offer I can't refuse! :-D

Clone-A to keep all the compatibility alive, Minimig to keep the open source dream alive, all on one device. I want to pre-order it now, just tell me where to sign...

Seriously dude, you have no idea how deliriously happy you've just made me!
