So Super Stardust will burn if you do not include the audio files, correct? If so, could it be that the formatting of the audio files is causing the problem? Why not try burning an audio CD to see if your burning program will allow it. Best to eliminate the possibility that the audio files were ripped incorrectly I think.

MP3s as a format existed at the time the CD32 was released, as  MP3 is really MPEG 1 Layer 3 (i.e. the audio layer).

However, I was also surprised that the audio was stored in this format, wav files do seem like a more natural choice. Perhaps the mp3 formatting was chosen by Dream17 for ease of distribution (smaller file sizes).
