A PSX emulator on the iPhone is pretty impressive, but the best handheld gaming device this year is the DS, no question (unless emulation is all you're into). :-P

iPhone: ARM CPU. Touchscreen and microphone input
DS: ARM CPU. Touchscreen, button and microphone input.
