We are having trouble running anything since we did not get our power supply yet.

:-D

I just listened to the latest ART. Are you holding off buying a power supply because you are worried about frying your Minimig? It should be easy to find a suitable power supply. As long as it's regulated, does 5V, and is able to supply over 100mA, you will not fry the Minimig. This is because electrical devices only draw current when needed. However, you don't want to go too close to 100mA as power draw can fluctuate, which may cause the Minimig to cut out. As I have said to you before, this adapter would be ideal for your needs:

I would never use this Power Supply.

Uhh, why not?

You do realise that a regulated power supply is the same thing as a stabilised power supply, right? Your example is slightly more expensive with the added bonus of being less versatile.

Fair enough, good point Ohforf, I stand corrected.

Just ignore my advice and you'll be safe (didn't see the lack of 5V supply on the device I recommended for some reason. D'oh!). Follow Ohforf and freqmax's advice and you should be fine.

Oh and what I was saying before is that if you take a few basic precautions you are very unlikely to fry your Minimig. The most important things to look for is regulated 5V and getting the polarity of the connector the right way around. A surge protected multiplug would be a good investment too.
