Hey I was playing around with the idea of buying another domain name. Heck they are $1.99 over at godaddy (well for the first year anyway)...so I thought what about grabbing an old amiga domain name, because it would have backlinks already included!
Well, as you can imagine, it wasn't that easy finding a domain name with a bunch of backlinks that someone let go for free. Coolfun.com seems to be down, but darn it if you cannot get the domain name..(remember the imagine amiga program?).
well...long story short, I even started looking for old BE domain names, and os/2...and finally I came full circle and picked up PANTHEONSYS.COM, an old amiga domain.
for $1.99, well what did I get...some old links to the Nova Sector line of Amiga clones, a few links to Turtle Lightning Software, a few links over to GammaSoft stuff, and a few links to some specific pages.
I've gone back in and put pages, where the links already exist :-D
So, briefly I had two pages with pagerank 2...I say briefly, becuase its pagerank 2 one minute, back to zero, the next...oh well a few back links for a buck 99.
Oh well, now to phase 2, I've added a bunch of link exchanges... see if I can kick it up another notch or two, just for fun.
