Incorrect, the SCSI on Mk2 is an add-on module, just like the Mk1.

As has already been pointed out in this thread, because it supports EDO memory (if you care about that sort of thing), and it's faster by default, 56MHz vs 50MHz...

CSMKIII 060 can be easily boosted to 75 or 80Mhz just by switching the crystal on the MB & no mines not for sale ;-)

Hmm, If it's that easy and safe I'll push mine to 75Mhz, don't want to push it too hard.

make sure you have Rev6 060 if you want to go to 75-80 else I was running a Rev1 for years at 66 with no issues at all.
